About DiappyMed

Who are we?
DiappyMed is a French company based in Montpellier specializing in the development of mobile digital tools for personalizing diabetes treatment.
The adventure began in 2016 with the thesis of Omar Diouri, one of DiappyMed’s co-founders. His work, carried out at Montpellier University Hospital in Prof. Éric Renard’s endocrinology-diabetology-nutrition department, was based on the development of an insulin dosage tool.
A few years later, in January 2021, DiappyMed was born. Since then, our aim has been to develop easy-to-use tools with proven clinical performance and easy access, to facilitate the care of people with diabetes and support them towards better glycemic control and more freedom in their daily lives.
Our watchwords are kindness, quality and diversity

Diversity
We make a point of valuing and representing cultural differences: our database contains over 200,000 foods.
We are working to reduce inequalities in access to technology, in particular by providing people treated with multi-injections with personalized insulin therapy solutions, currently reserved for people treated with insulin pumps and closed loops.

A word from the co-founders
“We are at an historic watershed in the management of diabetes: thanks to digital therapies, we can offer every patient the technological tools to become an active player in their own health.
At DiappyMed our ambition is twofold: to ease the workload for medical teams and to reduce the burden for people with diabetes.
Being the first reimbursed digital therapy in France to support patients on insulin pens not only meets a pressing need, but also paves the way for lasting autonomy for millions of people.”
